I had the absolute pleasure earlier this month of photographing teeny tiny newborn Arliah-Moon. This little rainbow baby arrived at home to her wonderful mum and family, and completed their fantastic family of four. Arliah was a dream to photograph, posing beautifully for me from the very start
The photograph above is actually a composite of two separate shots. In both shots, Arliah's daddy is kindly holding her tiny head in position for me. I've croppped out his hands to give the illusion that she is holding her head up on her hands like this, but she was being supported at all times.
I'm extremely broody all the time. It's just a part of who I am, and it never seems to go away! So this job is so perfect for me. I love that I get to hold and pose and photograph these gorgeous little creatures on a daily basis. I feel so lucky and so privileged to be able to call this my 'job' when really it's my hobby and my outlet.
Baby Arliah's big sister came along to the shoot and very kindly posed for me with her tiny little sister. Laylah is a joy to photograph (you may recognise her from her mummy's recent maternity session) as she's so beautiful and very good at posing for the camera!
